Each class is carefully planned to be engaging while addressing clear learning objectives that are shared at the start of each session. Chattertown is a warm and welcoming destination, where five friendly animal characters live. Each week the characters and your teacher introduce your child to a new theme, such as ‘in the garden’ or ‘farmyard’. The themes are explored through a range of props, toys, songs, stories, rhymes and language games which change weekly keeping both you and your child stimulated and eager to participate. Although, we aim to keep each week fresh, with new themes and a range of activities, we know that young children love repetition and so we keep some elements the same every week and incorporate more familiar rhymes and traditional songs.
Our supportive environment encourages you and your child to participate fully in the activities, making the most of the time you have committed to developing your child’s language. We also hope to share techniques and strategies to use in your interactions at home.
‘I would recommend these classes for any parent looking to encourage their child’s speech and language.’
